The Boston Celtics lost Game 7 of the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers at home on Sunday night, ending their season and sending the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals. LeBron James led the Cavaliers with a monster performance, scoring 46 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 9 assists. The Celtics were led by Kyrie Irving, who had 24 points and 7 assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome James and the Cavaliers.
The Celtics had a chance to win the game in the final seconds, but Jayson Tatum's three-point attempt bounced off the rim. The Cavaliers rebounded the ball and ran out the clock, securing the victory.
The Cavaliers will now face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday night.
