The father of Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has spoken out, saying he does not believe his daughter will face jail time. Thell Reed, a longtime Hollywood armorer himself, made the comments in an interview with ABC News.

Reed also revealed that he had started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for his daughter's legal costs. The campaign has so far raised over $30,000.

Reed is a well-known Hollywood armorer with credits that include the 1997 film "L.A. Confidential." His daughter, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was the armorer on the set of the Western film "Rust" when actor Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
