Barron Trump Defended by Chelsea Clinton
Trump Says He May Miss Barron's Graduation
15-Year-Old Son of Former President Enrolled in New York School
New York, NY (March 20, 2024) - The seventh day of Donald Trump's New York hush money trial could bring a ruling on whether the former president will be forced to miss his youngest son's graduation. Barron Trump, 15, is set to graduate from Columbia Preparatory School on June 3, but Trump is facing a possible prison sentence if convicted.
On Friday, Chelsea Clinton came to Barron's defense, saying that "no child should have to suffer because of their parents' actions." Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, made the comments during an interview on CBS News.
"Barron is a good kid," Clinton said. "He doesn't deserve to be punished for something his father did."
Trump has said that he will "fight like hell" to avoid missing Barron's graduation. However, legal experts say that the judge in the case is likely to rule against Trump if he is convicted.
